Were you aware that just in the Nashville metropolitan area we have over 2,000 homeless struggling to survive, or that we have more than one thousand children being shuffled around from foster home to foster home?  I've always had a passion for serving children forced into the foster care system, and to help care for the needs of the homeless living in our streets. I despise the stigma around homelessness that it's just people who are drug addicts or alcoholics with no desire to get a job. Truthfully, any one of us could end up on the street at any given moment. Many times it's a circumstance like losing a house to a fire, or losing a job and not being able to afford rent, or a divorce that takes everything from them. In fact, usually it's the people that have the least that give the most. Then there are so many children shuffled around from home to home, never having the love of a parent, many ejected from the foster care system when they are 18 and then left to fend for themselves. No one to love them, no one to invest in them, no one to look out for their futures. So many end up on the streets. Our world needs more compassion and love for one another. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus and we do that best by sacrificing our own time and money to pour into others.

 

I want to continue to use my creativity to serve in areas where God has broken my heart for others. I want to do more than just run a business, and I feel called to use this company as a platform to serve others. I will be donating 5% of every purchase or artist contract, be it a photo shoot, video shoot, lyric video, etc., to specific non-profit organizations such as Tennessee Alliance for Kids, Youth Villages, Nashville Angels, The Bridge Ministry, and People Loving Nashville. It’s imperative that we do more than talk about helping others. We have to make a difference. Through this, we can make an even greater impact together.
